Why Facebook's "Save Video" Isn't a Download

On desktop: click the video's timestamp or open it in Watch, then copy the address from your browser bar, or use Share → "Copy link." From Messenger: press and hold a shared video post and copy its link. Paste it into the box above and tap Download.
Reels, Watch Videos and Page Videos

Next, make sure the post is still up and still public, since owners often change a post's audience after it goes viral. If you copied a long link from your browser, try the Share → "Copy link" version instead, which is cleaner.
