Story Highlights are the round circles under an Instagram bio: Stories the owner pinned so they don't disappear after 24 hours. They're often the most useful content on a profile, like tutorials, menus, travel tips or product demos. Clipzy can save them from public accounts.
Step 1: Copy the Highlight Link
- Open the profile in the Instagram app and tap the Highlight.
- Tap the ⋯ (More) button or the Share icon while it plays.
- Choose Copy link. Some app versions call it Copy highlight link.
On a computer, open the Highlight on instagram.com and copy the address from the browser bar. It contains /stories/highlights/.
Step 2: Paste It into Clipzy
Go to the Instagram video downloader, tap the paste button, then the search button, and tap Download Video.
Want only the sound from a Highlight, like a voiceover? Tap Audio under the Download button to save it as an MP3.
Private Accounts and Normal Stories
- Private accounts: not possible. No tool that respects Instagram's privacy settings can see private content.
- Normal Stories (not in a Highlight) disappear after 24 hours, so save them while they're still up.
- Close Friends Stories are private by design and can't be downloaded.

Does the account owner get notified?
Clipzy never logs in to Instagram, so nothing is sent from your account. Instagram doesn't notify anyone about downloads.
